States with a county for every letter?

Ohio comes close. We are missing counties starting with I, Q, X, Y and Z. Darn Youngstown could have given us one more. Can any other state beat this?

Dennis

Texas is just missing Q and X.

Georgia has 159 counties. A startling number for its size. It’s missing: K, V, X, Y, and Z.

No K? You’d thing they’d have at least 3 of them.

Here is a list of all of the counties (or equivalent) in the US.

There are six Qs but no counties that start with X.

There are 31 Washington Counties (including Washington Parish, LA).

Kansas misses seven. I, Q, U, V, X, Y, and Z.

So it’s surprising that Georgia doesn’t have 3 K’s.
Is it surprising that Kansas is missing I and Q?

And just what state do you infest?

We’re missing all of A F I J K N P W X Y Z.
But most people don’t think we’re part of the U.S., so we have bigger issues.
