Can the SDopers give me the technical definition of a stationary front? (Yes, I believe I know the answer, but I anticipate something in the answer which may trigger a related question about how we use this term.)

It’s the side that the letterhead is on.

Basically, it’s the boundary between two different air masses that aren’t moving.
