Statistics of my classroom

During a school day, about 100 10th-graders come through my classroom. The nice round number made me curious about numbers and percentages.

Statistically speaking, what reasonable guesses can I make about them? How many of my students are gay? How many are already sexually active? How many are experimenting with drugs? How many have a serious mental illness? How many will graduate from college? What other interesting educated guesses can I make?

Mr. im2evil4u’s thoughts (a high school english teacher for 7 years, before he escaped)

4 are gay
86 are sexually active
98 are “experimenting” with drugs
100 have a serious mental illness (it’s called being a teenager)
63 1/2 will graduate from college

50 are male, and 50 are female.

Maybe I’m just naive, but I was a tenth grader not too long ago, and I’d be hard pressed to believe that 86% of my classmates were sexually active and 98% were experimenting with drugs. Maybe about half? Or maybe one of us dopers can find an actual survey posted online somewhere.
