I looked it up in at www.m-w.com, and while you are correct that you pore over a book, it also said that you can pour out emotions. And here I was just thinking “pore” are those little buggers that I fight a daily battle with to keep tiny.

I don’t mean to be a stick-in-the-mud, but when you write your report PLEASE do not call this study sample a “random sample”. Your participants are self-selected, not randomly sampled.
