Ronnie Biggs is well known for being a member of a gang that robbed a mail train carrying £2.6 mill in 1962 or around $50 mill at todays rates allowing for inflation etc.
He escaped after sentencing and has been on the run ever since, hiding in Spain and Brazil.
He has made a living out of having been a member of the gang that did this, and, as you can see, has fan websites, yet he was only a minor member of the outfit.
The media have mythologised this shithead and some seem to treat him as a celebrity with maybe a touch of the Robin Hood about him.
This turd fought extradition from Spain and whan it failed ran off to Brazil.
Eventually extradition treaties caught up with him and he only avoided being returned to the UK when his then mistress bore a child to him and under their law he could not be deported as he had Brazilian dependants.
Such a good reason for bringing another life into this world.
His health is failing him and he apparently wants to return to the UK, in all liklehood to avail himself of our national health service to which he has not contributed a penny and from a nation from whom he was partly responsible for stealing so much wealth.
The thing that annoys me most about this completelty selfish twat however is this, you will never find mention on the above link which is his fan club about Jack Mills who was the train driver.
Refusing to be cowed by the gang he fought back, and was struck several times on the head with a metal cosh which caused very severe injury but even in such a state the scumbags forced him to drive the train to a point from which it could be offloaded. The effect of this was that Jack was a broken man in hospital and died just a few years later.
Biggs you bastard, why not fuck off and rot in a foreign land, you have made every effort over the last few decades to stay away because you did not have the courage to face the consequencies of your actions.
Meanwhile a good man has died and his wife widowed because he had the courage you so lack.
