His brother Cary would later become the Yosemite Killer.
Another kidnap victim of Ken Parnell, Timmy White died in April of a PE.
I remember the movie - my mom wouldn’t let me watch it though.
That’s the same thing I went to the hospital for a month or so ago. Not to make it all about me or anything, but yeesh. From what I gathered, not at all a pleasant way to go. Poor guy.

I’m iffy about mandatory minimums for most crimes…but it’s not like Parnell thought " Oh I’ll steal a loaf of bread to feed my family" or " support services for the poor suck, so I’ll join a gang so I can make money dealing drugs."
And he was a DANGEROUS child molester too. Not just a situtional one off thing that happened ONCE, but he psychologically manipulated his victims! I wonder what the judge who handed down such a light sentance was on? Why is it that child molesters get such light sentances? We so need to put them in mental hospitals for the criminally insane and let them ROT. They are incorrigable and cannot be rehabbed at ALL.
Thank God Parnell never managed to get his hands on Timmy…Though I feel bad for Steven…ugh. Anyone know if Parnell was the first recorded case of a child molester actually snatching a victim off the street?(as opposed to trying to get in good with kids he knows?) Fasinating and very horrifying case
