Okay, this is a free hint to all our aspiring domestic terrorists out there: if you are planning to cross state lines with illegal firearms to disrupt vote counting, DO NOT drive a silver Hummer with QAnon stickers on the bumpers. I mean really, a Hummer? That’s so 90’s. If you want to sneak into town, everyone knows you should drive a coal roller.
Stupid people be stupid. That’s what they’re good at.
The funny thing is, even without everything else going on, when you buy a car like that, you’re buying it specifically because you want people to look at it/you.
If that’s what you want, that’s fine, but when you want to do something where you know there’s a good chance of getting caught and you know getting caught will put you in the national/world spot light…go rent a Camry or an Impala.
Also, after reading this line “At this time we do not have indications that the story is bigger than these two individuals.”, it seems to me that maybe these things shouldn’t be made public, at least not until after everything is counted. While most people are keyboard commandos, finding out other people are more than just talk could be the motivation they need to take action as well.
IOW, it could create copy cats.
You realize you’re ascribing rational thought to irrational people, right? First off, they don’t think they’re doing anything wrong. Second, they’re proud of their “patriotic act” to “protect the president”.
On Saturday there was a clash in Sacramento between Trump protesters and Biden supporters. The Trump fans were protesting the theft of the election. One sub-group advertised that they were calling for a recount of California. So there are folks deciding to support the stolen election idea.
The clash was minor, as clashes go. In fact, I wonder how sparse the attendance was. The two groups ignored each other until the events were over and people were leaving.
