There must be. Putting together something like that, one character at a time, would take forever.

Someone’s probably written a perl or python script (or something similar) that can take an image and some text, and put together the CSS and HTML.

I have the same problem in IE8. I opened it in Firefox and it worked.

Works for me in Firefox, Opera, and Chrome, but not IE8.

You can tell by the lack of line breaks in the html part of the code

I suppose it does count as steganography, but it’s weak steganography, in that the hidden signal is quite easily distinguished from the carrier signal. When I think of steganography, I think of minor bit-level variations in things like audio or video data, that would not be noticeable to or readily detectable by users of that data.

I’ve seen better examples. A picture of flowers that, when highlighted in a browser, turns into what have you.

Just use Google Chrome.

Huh… IE8 or IE7 should display the CSS. But you just never know with IE, which is why you should just download Chrome and/or Firefox (both are free; and much much better).
