Steophan, stop spreading ignorance.

Steophan, your ability to pull non-existent laws out of your ass and parade them about asserting that they exist is impressive, but the simple fact remains that shit is shit, so how about you stop shitting up the “Were these video poker players cheaters and/or unethical?” thread, ‘cause your eruditions are dribbling down your leg and stinking up the thread.

Well, my smelly little ball of defecate derision, you have been asked repeatedly to provide proof of your assertion, but you have not done so.

Put up or shut up – or more correctly, put up or start wearing a butt plug to contain your statements of law, you odious little ignoramus.

he didn’t say it was illegal (note that in a paragraph you didn’t quote he said “it’s not necessarily criminal.”) He said it was “against the rules.” Which it usually is, if the casino catches you or suspects you of card counting, they’ll toss you out. if you want a cite here you go: Ben Affleck's Card Counting 'Had to Have Been Blatant,' Expert Jeff Ma Says

No, it is not. Steophan was asked to provide a cite to that effect and he failed to address the request, and nowhere in your cite is it stated that counting cards is violating any rule of either the casino or the game itself.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but can’t casinos throw out and even ban whoever they want, for any reason whatsoever or for no reason at all?

That is correct. Casinos don’t necessarily have anything against counting cards, they object to patrons winning consistently. You could sit there with a notepad, a calculator, and an abacus, but as long you lose, they don’t give a shit.

They can and do consistently for card counting so I don’t know what other definition of “against the rules” could apply.

Although apparently, it’s not against the rulesin New Jersey.

I thought this was going to be about the “suicide by mod” Steophan is doing in the ATMB forum.

With the effort starting in earnest at post #47 and beginning to get warnings in #71

In Nevada, yes, in New Jersey, no. I don’t know much about other jurisdictions. In any case, read this post and its followups in the other thread for a more precise explanation of what’s actually being discussed.

The problem is, while he did originally say it was against the rules, later in the thread he seems to be equating “against the rules” with “against the law.” He’s had ample opportunity to say “I didn’t mean it was illegal, just against the rules.”

Well, I didn’t know about that, but considering Steophan’s racism and utter stupidity, upon reading the OP all I can think is “Of all the things he’s done and said, this is what you’re going to attack him for?”

Hey, how did kayaker close that thread? Is he hiding secret mod powers?

His hero is Teddy Roosevelt; kayaker floats softly and carries a big paddle.

Either that or he’s got ESP.

As for the OP… fail. Steophan is not comporting himself well in that thread but this seems pretty damn petty.

If anyone followed his evasions, reframings and incorrect citations in the IP and copyright thread, they already know he’s full of shit.

No, just ESP.
It’s not like Stevie Wonder couldn’t have seen that coming though.

That was also my impression. I thought of searching though his posting history and linking to a few examples, but I really couldn’t bring myself to make the effort.

It’s really all Steophan can spread. He has to play to his strengths.

Well, there’s the herpes.

He’d need to be having sex with other people to do so and considering his personality and the fact that he’s living at home with his parents and collecting money from the state, unless he spends a lot mor time in the gym than most internet warriors, that’s highly doubtful.

Come on, haven’t you ever read Andy Capp?
