Stephen King trivia

I don’t think anyone got this yet, so here’s a hint: the answer is in On Writing.

Thanks, I had some fun with this last night!

koeeoaddi, I think his wife says he can’t write well about sex? Or maybe women.

Okay, I’m going to give the answers to these old ones:

**
In what city did Annie Wilkes go up on the stand?**
“The problem was, Annie Wilkes had been on the stand up there in Denver…and not as a supporting witness either, Paul thought. I’d bet the house and lot on that.”
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon is named Trish. What is her best friend’s name?
Trish’s friend is Pepsi Robichaud; she would have found it “em-BARE-ASS-ing” to get caught peeing in the woods.

**
Besides Church, can you name any animal that was buried in the pet sematary?**
Among…others, the pet sematary contains Smucky (“he was obediant”), Jud Crandall’s good dog Spot, Biffer (“a helluva sniffer”), Hanratty the bull, Ringo the hamster, and Polynesia (who would be a parrot, if Louis remembered his Doctor Doolittle correctly). Also Hannah, Marta, General Patton, and Trixie, according to this site.

Yeh, I can remember reading she always had sound advice when it came to strong women protagonists. But I’m not sure if that’s what it was.

The Yellow Card Man: What is the sequence of colors the card goes through?

Green, yellow, orange, red, black.

I think.

Okay, after reading the “11/22/63” thread, I change my answer to yellow, orange, and black.

My trivia question - what country does “'Salem’s Lot” open in?

She may have said that, but it wasn’t what I was thinking of.

Mexico. What is that kind of literary device called? The opening chapter is current then the author flashes back to tell the rest of the story.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say “extended flashback.”

I didn’t look at the Trashcan trivia thing. Isn’t his name Melvin? Erving? I know he got Old Lady Semple’s check out of her mailbox, though. Cibola!

You’re warm! His initials are D. M. E.

Damn if I can’t remember Trashcan’s name.

Must. Resist. Google…

Here’s another unanswered one: hint, The Trashcan Man and Steve’s dad share the same first name!

Donald Merton something, isn’t it?

Getting warmer…you’re gonna catch fire!

Donald Edwin Melbert?

I think it was something like you can’t argue with her when she’s right?

Ooo ooo I know one (an easy one, but still)

What was Roland (from The Eyes of the Dragon) best at?

Hunting. TEoTD is one of my favorite books. I know that beyotch!

And questions:

What was King Roland’s mother’s name and how did she die?

What/who “came back wrong” from the Pet Sematary besides the primary examples?

Well, nothing ever came back ‘right’ from the pet sematary, but there’s reference to an adult male, and a bull.

What was the weapon of choice of The Juice?
