Steven Colbert - An Inappropriate Question

Mostly agreed, though Nancy Wall <= Beth Littleford.

So, is anyone going to address the OP? I’m curious about it too.

I’ve always noticed his ears - call 'em Pixie Ears. Wednesday night’s show prominently featured a shot over his right shoulder, and you couldn’t help but see it. Distracted me from the interview with the ex-con (although his chef toque hid it when they made soufflé!

Yes! That’s it! Pixie ears!

Thank you - I am not alone.

Yep, I’d noticed that about Colbert and pointed out to my wife that he often appears to kinda cock his head a bit, maybe indicating he’s a little self conscious about it. At least he used to. I’ve not watched it much since Steve Carell left.

I had never noticed before, but I tuned in last night specifically to check this out. And yeah, it does. I still think he’s super hot, though.

My ex-husband had a habit of playing with the top part of his ears. As such, he messed up the cartiliage and the pinna was thick and flat. It also became a little elf-like so it pointed up a little at the top.

If Colbert has been doing the trick for awhile, he could have a similar problem.

Oops! I forgot to link this when I posted my reply. :smack: Maybe my comment about the trick will make a little more sense now.

That’s Ted Hitler.

I’ve noticed Colbert’s ears from the get-go. His right ear is definitely lower and sticks out at a weird angle. But it doesn’t matter, the guy’s a comic genius.
IMO the funniest field reporter now, consistently, is Bob Wiltfong (I think that’s it, the tall, thin goofy guy). Dude has no shame whatsoever.

Anyone else continually have the desire to beat Mo Rocca to death with a baseball bat?

I saw him on something else (Tough Crowd?), and he was just as irritating and insufferable as he was on The Daily Show.

Fuck, I hated that guy.

Colbert is always #1, IMO.

I think it’s an old injury from that time he killed a panda.

All I get of The Daily Show is the crumbs available online, but I must say Colbert won me over during the 2004 election season with the apocalyptic, brilliant “Armies of Rove” bit.
