Steven Hawking's neck

Maybe its just me, and I know he’s paralyzed, but why doesn’t he get his head propped up straight? Seems like it would help, not just cosmetically, and he wouldn’t have to look at the world through a tilt anymore. Plus, if they ever do figure out a cure, they’d probably want his neck muscles, whatever remains, to be straight instead of crooked.

My guess is that propping up his head would be uncomfortable for him and would require some kind of bracing system. Why put him through all that if he doesn’t mind the way things are.
