Stevie Nicks on SNL

“Best of Best of Fleetwood Mac”

Honestly, with Lindsay being persona non gratia and Christine dead I can’t see them reuniting.

Have any of Nicks’ songs been this political? It almost seems like something written by Patti Smith.

There are angry songs that I just love the feel of. That feeling hooked me before I actually was listening to the lyrics. I liked Phil Collins’ I don’t care anymore the same way. YMMV of course.

The we won’t go back aspect of it came late to me so it didn’t feel hitting me over the head.

I don’t hear it as an attempted anthem so much as an attempted battle hymn.

Me, too.

This thread was the start of leading me down a rabbit hole concerning Fleetwood Mac, and Jeremy Spencer, and the Children Of God Cult.

Yikes! If anyone’s interested, just saw this TikTok, and want to by this person’s book.

I was kind of hoping they’d find a way to reference that old sketch where Lucy Lawless did an impersonation of Stevie Nicks as the proprietor of a crummy Mexican restaurant. Not THE most classic sketch, but it had its own goofy charm.
