Black people vote just as much as Americans? Really, Mitch?
The people who elected Mitch don’t care what he says.
The people who elected Mitch agree with what he says.
Mitch McConnell will get reelected as many times as he wants, this will affect him not a little. If you’re just venting about him, fine. I hope you don’t actually believe he’s going to suffer any professional repercussions over that.
As Silenus said.
Unfortunately, I suspect you’re all right, which is even scarier.
Gee, maybe Blacks vote as much as Americans because, I’m wondering, maybe they are Americans? Who knew?
This reminds me very much of L. A. Police Chief Daryl Gates, who defended police choke holds after a Black man died in 1982, saying
I remember that quote, but didn’t know who said it, and didn’t realize it was that long ago.
Unfortunately, we haven’t changed all that much.
I hate him but I can’t get too upset about this. He clearly meant something like African Americans vote at the same rate as Americans in general. (Not fact checked, it may not be true).
Suspect he just mispoke and meant to say “other” Americans.
Out of all the things McConnell does and stands for, this is relative weaksauce IME.
Even if he’s not done, can we still stick a fork in him?
#BLMMM
Black Lives Matter to Mitch McConnell!
Just as much as American lives.

I’m the first to admit I don’t know too much about the applicable lore; but does sticking a fork into the Undead have any appreciable effect?
Probably not personally, but it could help solidify the black vote for the left, which has been slipping lately.
Yeah, and they follow it with, “damnit!”
Yes, that’s what he’d like most people to assume he clearly meant. He’s not trying to get your vote, after all.
His supporters will understand what he really meant.
That’s one fork I ain’t ever going to use.
mmm
Like.
He clearly meant all Black people in the entire world. You know, like all those Kenyans who voted illegally for Obama.
