Stick a fork in Mitch McConnell, 'cos he's done

That’s part of evil

No idea where else to post this.
McConnell’s heading this, so here it’ll go…

Curious what was going on with his distractionary Election Act reform hijinks, and notice (well, in this article, anyway) that there’s only one democrat serving on this putatively bipartisan panel. Wasn’t Sinema supposed to be also on it? (Not that I’m holding out for any sense of quality policy-making on her part - or anything, on her part)

Huh. Really, Joe.
Really?

Not sure if down the road this might warrant its own thread in P + E.

I heard that Mr. Paul (I refuse to call him a doctor) cancelled his DirectTV subscription because they decided not to carry OANN any more.

He wants the world on a silver platter but he can’t even handle a plastic DISH like an adult.

One cannot stick a fork in a tortoise. I can’t get worked up about this, when you’re in the public eye every once in a while you’re going to drop a word and alter the meaning of a sentence. I’m much more concerned about his blatant disregard for the oath of impartial justice during the impeachments, his 1/6 amnesia, and for stealing a Supreme Court seat than I am about him dropping a word.

The Charlize Theron inquiry.

I heard that he claimed he would cancel his theoretical DirectTv subscription. Seeing no evidence he did so, or indeed he ever had such a subscription, and seeing the (R) behind his name, my go-to assumption is that he’s lying.

I don’t know if it’s a Trent Lott moment or not, but it certainly is revelatory.

I thought Motor Voter was already the law, like since the first Clinton administration.

It looks like the Motor Votor Law requires states to provide an opportunity to also register to vote when people apply for a driver’s license, but it doesn’t contain any provision for making such voter registration automatic when a driver’s license is obtained or renewed. As per the Wikipedia article on the law:

Ah. Ignorance fought. Thanks.
