I just realized that I don’t understand why they call it “stinky feet” instead of “stinky toes”. It’s not like the whole foot stinks. It’s pretty much just the toes that stink. The heel and the arch are odorless.
Trying to save time bathing?
I figure if you float face down in the bathtub, the dirtiest parts get wet that way.

No one is going to willingly get close enough to smelly feet to differentiate. “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t realize it was only your toes that stank! My bad.” 
You take your shoes off, people smell foot odor -> “smelly feet.”
