Stop fucking hitting "Reply to All"! (lame)

OtakuLoki. No, I didn’t really know the people involved, they were in OPS, I was in maintenance, two totally different cultures. Also, I quit right after this happened, so I only saw a tiny bit of the fall-out.

Exactly! When I send out stuff to multiple people, then I want them to know what each other is answering - for example when I’m trying to coordinate meeting up with several friends of mine. I would understand that it’s annoying when people don’t use “reply all” in those cases.

As it stands, if the original sender doesn’t want to get a “reply all” answer, then he should use bcc. If he doesn’t, then the best method to teach the guy to use bcc next time is to use “reply all”, so that others can complain about the number of unimportant replies they are getting - that should stop the original sender from making the same mistake twice. At least it worked every time I deliberately hit “reply all”.
