Mighty_Friend[sup]TM[/sup] is at sea right now, and today is his birthday. I can email him but I want it to make it special. Unfortunately he is not allowed to receive attachments. So, I thought, why not ask for help from that helpful community I am part of and make this a special birthday email. I will email to him this entire thread. Things to know:

Happy birthday, from a former squid! I didn’t spend any birthdays at sea, but spent enough Thanksgivings, Christmases and other assorted holidays far away from civilization to be sympathetic.
I can’t help with the girlfriend situation, since I am happily engaged, but if I find any likely prospects, I’ll be sure to let you know.
