If these are all just chats, why does anyone bother putting subjects in the first place? I guess I should expect more AuraSeer-esque threads in the future.

I think the type of chats you refer to are enjoyed in MPSIMS threads rather than in either GD or GQ ones.
Aside from a post or two in GD, I’ve mainly kept my posting in MPSIMS. It just seems lighter, and I mainly use this board for a little stress relief.
I could see how hijacking would be annoying if you’re asking a serious question, or having an intense debate.
But you can always get the thread back on topic.
If it gets hijacked again, well, maybe the original subject was played out, or not that interesting to the other posters.
Personally, I think it’s better to have some wiseass comments mixed in with the on topic stuff, as opposed to having a thread die with no responses at all…

Tell me how many moderators/administrators you have watching over you in your real life chats. Do you state the subject of one of these discussions when you begin?
