Stores You Just Want To Buy Out

Note: Emphasis is mine not OP

LOL

That truly is one of the best lines I ever read, “Didn’t even know I needed…”

May the force be with me if I ever get to a Levenger retail outlet.

Rockler. Quality wood working tools. If they don’t have it, you don’t need it.

Ikea.

Also, Newegg.com; ever since I taught myself how to build computers, that website is like porn that comes with free samples of crack cocaine.

Dude check out ZipZoomFly.com, they are great.

Good Wear Leather Company.

Bookstores. All of them.

Williams-Sonoma definitely.

And Garret Wade. Love that place. And tools in general I suppose. Must’ve inherited that tendency from my mother. We never went to a shoe store together but we always hit the hardware stores.

I used to go to used bookstores and buy as many old sf magazines as I could carry. My thousand book to be read list has cut this down a bit, unless I go to a new store. Realizing that I won’t be getting to most of the books I buy until about 5 years after I’m dead moderates my desire - sometimes.

Game stores, their puzzle section, are harder to resist, except I buy most of them from the thrift store. Much cheaper. I got 7 today for a total price of $13.65 (after tax.)

The Nature Company, when it still existed. And it no longer does. :frowning: The Discovery Channel store’s a faint echo and a distant second.

After that…almost any bookstore. But Treehorn Books is a local favorite for the used, cool, and unusual.

I could buy out the home decor section of Anthropologie. I like their clothes, too, but you have to be way skinnier than I am to look good in them. So that’s a good thing, right?

Oh, hell yes. I keep ignoring the siren calls of their e-mails, but I can’t bring myself to unsubscribe.

I hate that place. I’ve spent way to much money there. But, their catalogs are the ultimate tool porn. I’ve really had to limit myself to buying items I actually have a use for now.

Williams-Sonoma. Same issue as with LeeValley minus the catalog smut.

This place I don’t even go into anymore. Totem Acoustic speakers, glarg!

I am also a Container Store junkie. I freaking LOVE that place. Good thing it’s not too close by!!

I am not one of those people that like to spend a long time in store, normally, but get me into The Container Store and I’ll be there for a good hour or more just looking at and drooling over the stuff contained therein!

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who goes nuts over that place!

I am also a big, big fan of Fire Mountain Gems! (just placed an order today, in fact)

I’m sure there are other stores, but I just can’t think of them right now…

Penzeys Spices orders can get quite expensive, when you start adding everything you’ve heard mentioned on the Food Network and want to try out.

And bike shops - not local shops, but online stores that have wide selections of high-end parts (i.e. not Nashbar/Performance).

I placed an order with Lee Valley Tools today.

I have got to stop reading these kind of threads.
(I love Penzeys!)
