Straight dope on dry cat food

My kitty won’t eat Anything but grocery-store brand dried cat food. I’ve tried canned and packaged food plus tuna and salmon. Nose in the air. (Well, she will slurp some of the tuna juice but not much.
But, her teeth are good, she’s spunky and energetic. And healthy and only slightly overweight.
If she’s happy, I’m happy!

Liberal feel free to email me if I can answer specifics.

My vet sez the same a HIGH Quality dry food is best, with canned as a once a day meal or treat.

Iams, Science Diet, Maxcat, Felidae, and several others.

Prescence of Corn in the first few ingredients is a bad sign.

As an aside, many (most?) UK veterinarians would suggest a wet (canned*) cat food.

*tinned, actually I seem to recall.
