To think that I was only talking about things within sight of my computer for the most part!
When I started looking in the kitchen cupboards I found the following:
2 mugs shpaed like breasts - you drink from the nipples
17 shot glasses - no one here drinks hard liquor
5 complete sets of highball glasses
1 beer mug shaped like a boot
3 cocktail shakers
47 miniature bottles of different types of booze
3 dozen coffee mugs - I don’t drink coffee any more
1 set of sherbet glasses
The really weird thing is that with the exception of the breast mugs, I’m not real sure where the rest of this crap came from! I made the breast mugs as a joke when I was into ceramics about 15 years ago
Homer? Long time, no post dude.
Star Trek stuff EVERYWHERE. Videotaping is my big hobby. I must have over 1,000 tapes on shelves (but they are organized!). Music (CD’s LP’s, 45’s and the odd cassette). My ever-growing ELO collection (DAMN YOU, E-BAY!!). A half-dozen Volkswagen models (the big 1:18 scale and only the air-cooled ones). Stacks and stacks of books and magazines. I often use the archaeological approach to locating stuff, you know, newest stuff on the top layer and backward through history as you move down the stack. Comic books in boxes, comic books standing by the chair, comic books everywhere! Somewhere under the bed is an old Leading Edge Model ‘D’ 8088 computer. It works! In the closet is a really old amber monitor which also works. If I had an RGB monitor, I could use the LE to play a game I got from Compute! magazine (remember that one?) called Dr. Sleeptight and the Nightmare Factory. (a sceen by screen game where you must elude killer pillows). I tried playing it on my current computer, but I can’t slow the thing down enough to play the game!
There’s more, but I’m tired…
