Strange Dialogs and My Broken Wireless Network

I know, I know, I hate to see computer help threads in the GQ, but I’m in dire straits here. :frowning:

I’m on a home wireless network, with a Netgear modem and USB access point. However, upon booting up XP yesterday, I found that while my computer still acknowledged my network, it would not let me online-- right now, I’m only online thanks to a neighbor’s network. Also, I got a strange error message upon booting up-- something about springfld_adv_daemon and getiums.dll.

Uh… help? :confused:

A few things:

*I downloaded Window’s MDAC 2.8, so that prompt went away.
*By ‘acknowledged,’ I mean I can get my computer to say it has a good connection to CitrusHome network, but can’t go online or anything.
*Still online thanks to charitable neighbors, but this won’t last long. :o
