Strange Jury Summons...what should we do?

Bizarro! Sounds like a deliberate intent to mislead the court system, on the part of the same-named-guy. I wonder if it’s an offense of some sort to give deliberately-incorrect info?

How does that county get its juror pool? It seems like a lot of them go via the driver’s license lists.

You might want to keep an eye on your husband’s credit reports in case this fellow is pulling any other stunts.

Is the county going to contact this juror via other means? have they removed your husband’s email from their files?

I just assumed those email addresses were more hassle for really common names like john.smithatgmail.com and were best avoided.

Someone wants to rob you or give your computer a virus.

On a similar note, a co-worker of mine had been expecting an overdue package, and he got a scam email about an overdue package! Complete coincidence. But since he was in reality expecting a package, he clicked the link, and his computer got infected.
