Strange phenomenon with my snail mail mailbox.

I have been noticing that in my snail mail mailbox, I keep getting correspondence from institutions that want me to send them money, but very few people/institutions send me money.

Call me zany, but this seems rather unbalanced to me. Something should be done.

write your own solicitaion and mail it to them… just for fun…

“Please help the poor, I am poor” kinda thing…

Ya know… I once did recieve a $1 bill in the mail to fill out a survey… I thought that was a good idea, so I sat down started filling out the survey… I started to get hungry so I went and bought a Snickers bar… came back home and forgot about the survey…

The only thing better than a snickers bar is a snickers bar paid for by someone else…

There is an interesting though, though I wonder at the legality. Could I just start invoicing different companies? I am thinking that I could just start sending invoices with one line item “Administrative Fee”. As mailing stuff is administrative, and I am not claiming any services rendered, I wonder how many would pay and if I would be legally in the clear. Hmmmmm.

You should meet my dad Binarydrone

My dad always used to tell this yarn about somebody who took out an ad in the L.A. Times (or some big paper) that said “TO DAY IS THE LAST DAY TO SEND IN YOUR 50 CENTS” and a p.o. box, he claimed that hundreds of idiots just up and mailed this guy 50 cents. My father claimed the guy got busted for fraud because he was not offering any goods or services, but made people believe that they were missing something. Sounds like bull shjt to but there ya go.
