Weird and useless one…

If I held two fingers together - say, tip of thumb and index finger in a classic “OK” fashion - for a REALLY long time, would they eventually grow together?

If so, approx. how long would this take?

I’ve seen trees grow toegether…

To answer your first question… no. That won’t work.
But it would if you sufficently abraded these two fingertips and THEN held them together for a really long time.
