[li]Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door is the worst song ever.[/li][li]There are a ton of good CD rippers. The one I like: CDex – it’s free and works well. I’ve ripped 200+ of my CDs with it.[/li][li]For fixing id tags, try Tag & Rename. The site appears to be down or it’s the wrong site, so use Google if needed. Much faster than fixing tags by hand, it goes to the cddb to check for correct tags as well as a host of other things. It’s not free, but had a 30 day free demo last time I tried it.[/li][/ul]
That reminds me. I heard Paint It Black on the radio, and somebody told me it was by Eric Burdon and the Animals. But this was obviously the Rolling Stones version so I said something like “don’t you know the Stones when you hear them!?”
How’d I miss this earlier?
There’s also an episode of “King of the Hill” where Dylan was having a conversation with Boomhauer.
Interesting trivia, but we were specifically discussing the Woodstock version.
I remember that night. I’m sure you’re the one who claimed it was Arlo Guthrie and I had it right. So in fact, you owe me $50.
Payable in USD please…

(1) I strongly resent those who claim all “unauthorized” file-sharers are cheapskates or greedy bastards. Most people I know who only download music do so because they’re freakin’ pissed at the RIAA telling them what they can and can’t listen to. It’s civil disobedience, people, like America in 1776 or India in 1945.
(2) Sticking to the OP: “Come on Eileen” and “Video Killed the Radio Star” are NOT by The Cure! Similarly, “Rock You Like a Hurricane” is NOT by AC/DC.
(3) Dylan sucks. Accept it.
God, yes. Why can’t these people just for once credit Robert Wagner?
