I’ll say right upfront, I’m more grateful than ever that my loans are paid off; it seems every attempt to fix the student loan servicing business it’s somehow made worse. Now they’re going to give ALL the servicing to a single company in 2019. My student loan servicer was fine w/ me, but I was never delinquent (luckily); I can only imagine how frustrating it is when one has fallen behind and they can’t get good help to catch up.
