Student Medical Insurance

I am looking for student health insurance for my SO. He is in the US on a F-1 VISA from the UK. A couple of months ago I had no trouble finding different plans on the internet, but my search skills seem to have fallen apart since then. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Are there plans that you would recommend? Warn me to avoid? Things that are important I should look for in a plan?

It doesn’t matter if this plan is purchased from the UK or US. I just need some ideas on where to look and what I should be looking for. Thanks so much!

From what I remember about going to college in the US, the schools are required to provide health insurance for you unless you get a waiver that you already have it (through work or a parent or spouse or whatever.)

I’m not sure how comprehensive the insurance is but I would say start at the school he will be attending and see what they offer.
