It might also end up with my thesis having long accounts of great beer festivals, and absolutely no mathematics in it whatsoever. I can’t see how this is a bad thing.
But yes, it does always amaze me just how long winded a process this is, and just how imaginative I’m having to be – I’m a scientist, we don’t do imaginative! Well, not in science at any rate. At other things, maybe.
