To rule out the possibility that the differences between men’s and women’s genital sexual arousal patterns might be due to the different ways that genital arousal is measured in men and women, the Northwestern researchers identified a subset of subjects: postoperative transsexuals who began life as men but had surgery to construct artificial vaginas.

Now… its been established fairly thoroughly in the past that many women are a lot more fluid in their orientation than men. By “fluid” I mean more susceptible to change over time. Also, the number of bisexual women (2-4 on the Kinsey scale) is greater than the number of men in the same category. So… if MtF transsexuals seem to operate like women in fluidity of arousal and bisexuality, doesn’t this indicate that there in fact is something which links the two populations?

It would seem to lend credence to the brain gender differences theory anyway.

In Western culture, female “sexiness” is exhibited and exploited overwhelmingly more often than male “sexiness”. Most images we see that are supposed to be “sexy” feature women rather than men. It’s hardly surprising that images of women turn more people on than images of men, regardless of gender or sexual orientation.

I’l be accused by some of perversity, but that’s part of my question. What about people who are aroused by the thought of multiple partners vs those who are not? Are the “anti” folks objecting because of morality prewiring or a lack of desire?
