Firefly. I watched Serenity (the movie) partly because a good friend had been talking excitedly about it, and partly because of Cafe Society. I promptly went out and bought the DVDs. Since then, we have given the movie and the DVDs to family members, and Mr. Lissar’s Mom just bought the complete series on the strength of seeing the first two episodes with us.
Seven converts so far, and I’m going to lend Firefly to a friend who’s a big Buffy fan. She’s going to lend me the first season of Buffy in exchange.
We’re also thinking seriously about buying or renting the first season of Lost.
