Stuff to Do with a Canadian

I always fry them lightly in butter & canola oil, then coat them in bread crumbs, garnish with slices of lemon, then bake for 30 min at 400 degrees F.

MMMMmmmm! Breaded Canuck! Thems good eatin’!

The R.C.M.P. coul charge you with battery for that, Bosda.

The wedding’s in Toronto next May (to a she. I’m a he).

I think we’re getting the bulk of the wedding supplies at Canadian Tire…

Personally, I like to screw 'em.

'em? Them? Plural?

I was just in Calgary last week…dined at the Chili Club Thai House and brought back a few boxes of Maple Creams, a case of Coffee Crisp, and an assortment of Aero bars, Wunderbars and other Canadian confections.

If your Canadian is a true Canadian, what would be a better treat than going to a hockey game? The Washinton Capitals are at home right now vs. the L.A. Kings tonight (the 10th), Carolina on the 12th, and Tampa Bay on the 14th.

Just my .02 (that's about .015 USD these days).

A Crapitals game? Are you kidding? In Canadia they are used to good hockey.

Oh, wait, I just noticed you’re from Calgary. Guess you’re used to crappy hockey too.

Damn straight. The Phlegms haven’t gotten out of the first round of the playoffs since they won the Cup in '89 and haven’t made the playoffs in seven years, so we’ll take our hockey however we can get it.

Hockey shmockey. We discovered professional lacrosse last year, and we won’t be back to pay for overpriced nosebleed seats to watch the Flames go up in smoke anymore.

Delaware didn’t fall into the sea when I left? Goodness gracious!

Seriously- Delaware Art Museum if you’re into Pre-Raphealite stuff. Best collection in the US. Longwood gardens is especially nice at night this time of year (tho being where I am now, I haven’t a clue if they’ve put up their “holiday” lights yet. )

You could make a full day with a trip to Philly. Visit the historical sites early in the day, Franklin Institute & the Art Museum in the afternoon, cheesesteaks for dinner, and a Flyers game at night. Incidentally, the Flyers play the Canucks on thurdsay.

She gets enough hockey at home. She is pining for CFL coverage though, because her team is in the Grey Cup this coming weekend.
