Little program and I haven’t been to bed at a decent hour since.
Basicly it’s a huge referal/randomizer app w/ programable prefs that brings up URLs you are likely to be interested in.
It requires you to install an exe but I could detect no spyware or malware in it, no alerts on the net either.
Anyway I won’t be the only one drawn into its evil vortice so I willingly assimilate my fellow dopers, borg like, into it’s insomnia inducing clutches.
Install mozilla/firefox and you can get stumbleupon as a toolbar. It’s like an automatic crack dispensor installed into your browser!

I got the toolbar installed on IE, it works fine. I didn’t fill in any of the details on the register form or even submit the form at all. I guess it’s optional though they make it sound required when you run the app.
As far as I can tell none of the sites that come up have any affiliation at all. Just popular sites submitted by the systems users. I have only found one site w/ any links to porn on it and none with any nsfw content. It must be pretty well screened.
