Amazing how there doesn’t seem to be any corroboration for that view out in the real world - no news stories, no quotes from any politicians, no commentary even - just as if **Damuri **is simply repeating what the voices in his head tell him. But no, he’s the sane one and the *rest *of the world is mad.

Sure some people thought that even a watered down bill like Manchin Toomey (which would not only be ineffective but barely an inconconvenience) never had a chance. if this is true, then this bodes ill for your side. If you cannot pass one of the most ineffective, watered down bills on gun control I have ever seen in my life after Newtown (the most tragically heart-wrenching massacre I’ve seen in my life) because of the NRA or something like that, then you might as well pack it up and go home because you are never going to get any sort of gun control from here on out.
Maybe you’re right and Newtown didn’t present an opportunity to pass even the most watered down gun legislation that two pro-gun legislators could come up with as a fig leaf to the gun grabbers but if Newtown didn’t provide that sort of opportunity, I don’t know what would. Seriously, if you are saying that there was nothing you could have done better or differently to make a diffeence, then you might as well pack it up and go home because you are out of your league.
