Stupid Gun news of the day (Part 1)

Nor is it a cul-de-sac.

I’m not sure if I understand your metaphor.

eschereal is saying that every “freedom” comes with a concomitant responsibilty
Thus Freedom goes one way, and “responsibility” goes the other way, so to speak.

What does your metaphor of a “cul-de-sac” mean? Do you feel that the freedom to own a firearm does not come with any responsibilities? That the responsibilities should not be imposed by an outside authority (like they are with any number of other “freedoms” in our society - eg. the freedom to operate heavy machinery or a commercial truck, the freedom to open a business as a dentist… etc all come with externally imposed responsibilities.)

Or for shooting friend dead, in bullet proof vest test.

Kenyo-Nazi gun grabbers. No wonder Britain lost its Empire, W.W. II and the World Cup.

If they are insignificant, it doesn’t make much sense to care how those incidents occurred.

Man, if ONLY they’d ease up on the glovebox-loaded gun-totin’ breeders, the sun never would have set on their Empire !!!

The thread is “Stupid Gun news of the day”, statistical significance is not at issue.

No metaphor intended, sorry. I just like the imagery of the word and got carried away.

3 yr old fires once, hits both parents! Now that’s some shooting I’m sure we can all be proud of. He didn’t shoot at his 2 yrs old sister, who was in the same room.

Not everyone’s proud. Since the 3 year old failed to eliminate the Primary and Secondary Targets, he failed his mission.

No scholarship for him to the NRA’s " Shots For Tots " summercamp !!!

Obviously the problem is not guns, it’s the media. They report a kid shooting his mom, another one shoots his dad, then not only do you have another copycat but this one escalates by shooting both parents. Leave the guns alone and cut down on irresponsible reporting. Problem solved!

The 2 year old should have been carrying. She probably could have taken out her brother before he could get of the shot. Got him in the arm or something.

I blame the gun-grabbers for this. More guns in the household would have solved this.

there is the diaper holster. for those that like to be doubly loaded.

This thread is an incredible 2 fucking years old. And you know what? The relentless cycle of horrific fucking useless unnecessary deaths is as painful, as draining, as numbing as it was the day this thread was started.

Fucking gun-waving asshole fucknugget dick-swinging testosterone-spurting sub-humans.

All of this blood. All of this death. Younger and younger, older and older. Apparently there are no limits. The gore and blood flows freely and the barrel-suckers laugh and stumble on, jacking in another speedloader or freshly loaded mag as they go.

Fucking murderers.

Fuck them all.

I like a nice pair of tactical pull-ups.

Good thing Albuquerque isn’t one of these places with gun-hating leftist prosecutors who’d have been happy to charge the young super-hero with felony attempted murder. It’s really just the victim’s word against that of the two attackers he put down; I don’t know if he has made a statement to the poloice yet, but it seems a fair assumption that he would be protected under either self-defense or SYG laws.

God-fearing patriotic Americans all hope that the young sharpshooter, putting down two assailants with a single bullet, becomes a role model for America’s children. Is it hard to imagine that he realized he wouldn’t have the muscle strength to control the gun for a second firing, and so chose to put all his skill into one marvelous dare-devil shot?

God Bless America!

Even woman gun owners?

Touché.

This is ever so slightly right just on the edge of stupid: St. Petersburg police say it is entirely legal for Joseph Carannante to use his yard, in a residential neighborhood, for a gun range. Mr. Carannante says that he will advise his neighbors when he will be shooting, I guess so they can gather their children and hide them in their basements.
