Just because no one candidate will give you exactly what you want doesn’t mean they are all the same. Prioritize what you want, and vote for the candidate that gives you more of what you want than the other candidate(s).

Only if your political views are so far to the fringe that there is no one to represent you, or if you are actually ignorant enough to think that there are not dramatic differences in policies that the different candidates work towards.

I agree. Kids are a game changer; all those aftermarket locks and safes and vaults are intended for people who have kids. The days of Nancy Reagan’s loaded gun in the drawer by her bed are out the window if you have children… and sometimes if you even have a guest staying over night.
I say nut-shooter guy should face no charges. Sure, he should be barred from ever owning another gun, but no jail. As far as that goes, he’s paid his price. He shot himself in the nuts. I’ll live out the rest of my days without really knowing what that feels like! (I hope!)
