Thats not stupid gun news, its just tragic. Stupid gun news is like news agencies that have learned enough that they no longer think assault weapon means machine gun but still refer to assault weapons as “rapid fire assault weapons”
Apparently all gun accidents are stupid gun news. Any horrific crime committed with a firearm is stupid gun news too.

Great, I’m in favor of gun safety. So lets look at that example you gave of one cop shooting his partner. I can’t think of any regulations that would prevent that. So what’s your suggestion?

You know, you’re right - some of my examples were not good ones of “stupid gun news”. They were more appropriately “regular ordinary run-of-the-mill gun news that happens all the time”
