They sustained minor injuries, so apparently nowhere crucial.
That doesn’t narrow it down - nowhere crucial describes both Florida and Georgia.
I’m having a bad weekend.
Yes, but may none of your ends have any superfluous holes in them.
That said, “they sustained minor injuries”? Given that they were all children that seemed a given… yet still completely and totally horrible.
Don’t sweat it. I’ve read some of my old (cringeworthy) posts, typos and small mistakes happen. Sometimes it leads to humor.
Eww. Do not be telling us about your humors.
Another shooting in Memphis.
Texas third-grader finds a gun left in a bathroom stall by the the school’s superintendent, who open-carries at his elementary school.
“There was never a danger other than the obvious,” he said.
Wow - that is so blindingly stupid I can’t even come up with analogous stupidities (although it seems they are just out of my grasp in my brain).
There is so much stupid in that one article! Stupid that the superintendent and principal open carry. Stupid that the superintendent is too stupid to retrieve his gun after he takes a shit (seriously, was it just sitting on the TP dispenser?). Stupid that superintendent is “proud of the student for how he handled the situation”. Stupid that moron says “There was never a danger other than the obvious”. And stupid that this dipshit in charge hasn’t been fired.
I know that I said it and expressed it somewhere… and I know that I wasn’t the first nor the best in how it was said. I know that I’m stealing someone here’s words, and for that I am sorry.
They said that bringing guns / more guns into schools was a stupid idea because you are adding unnecessary danger(s) to a building filled with immature minds that we send there to educate and to find wisdom and maturity. It’s like allowing smoking in a gasoline refinery because some people can’t kick the habit: its just an unsafe practice.
Now, here we are 1-2 years later we are finding that every thing that poster said has come true and that unsafe gun handling by untrained people has done nothing but put children’s lives at risk and in danger. Yet the Abbotts and the gun salesmen of this world learn nothing and blindly steer the ship, setting course actually looking for icebergs…
They learned that they can make more money off fear.
Probably won’t be, because Texas.
‘Since you mentioned it, you’re absolutely right and that’s why we must allow the open carry of flame-throwers.’
Worse yet (from the dipshit’s point of view) - why hasn’t his permit for open carry been revoked? He obviously doesn’t have the first idea of real gun safety!
Given this gross negligence, I think he shouldn’t be allowed to have any guns.
What is there to revoke? Texas does not require a permit for open carry. (or concealed carry, for that matter.)
Which is why people without the first idea of gun safety are walking around leaving their guns in elementary school bathrooms.
“Apart from that, Mrs Lincoln, how was the play?”
OTOH, it is at least mostly correct. The danger was really the obvious one of a 3rd grader finding a loaded gun in the bathroom. I have to hand it to the man that he correctly identified the crux of the problem.
There’s the slightly greater danger of a first-grader or a kindergartener finding the gun instead of a responsible, mature third-grader.
