Thank you.
Neither stupid nor little. May his memory be a blessing.
Perhaps there could be an addendum to the service when his tombstone is unveiled next year? Or if that’s too long to wait, I say go visit the gravesite at your earliest convenience and sprinkle some dirt on the freshly turned earth.
Thanks. I also need to make arrangements with his widow to sell his various collections. Some of it his immediate family will want. Some can be thrown out. Some will require research and haggling with buyers. I know she has no clue as to the value of his stuff. I want to be sure she doesn’t get ripped off.
And here will be your true memorial to your dear friend. Helping the ones he left behind. I hope it is not too hard on you to do, but it is a real kindness and honor that you are doing. Wishing you strength and peace.
What she said.
Hear, hear!
I miss going to the gym. It has reopened, but with a bunch of restrictions and hours that don’t really work for me. I love Korean spas, I used to got to one once a month or two. It’s since reopened, but with the both the Euro-style sauna & steam rooms closed and the Korean saunas. Actually I can’t find open saunas anywhere; even the ones in gyms are closed. I really miss having a sauna.
Ditto. Fortunately the catalogue is online so I can see what books are available. As of this week I can finally go inside and browse again.
I’ve also downloaded a bunch of books from Project Gutenberg.
