One more important suggestion: Get one that has separate controls for the freezer and refrigerator sections. My current fridge has one knob. I can get the freezer cold enough and freeze the celery and beer, or I can have it right for the veg and not quite cold enough for the freezer. :smack:
I feel like a moron. First, when looking at the specs, like Baracus, my wife and I still had trouble figuring out the actual dimensions (hight, width, depth). Later on, I figured out that, if you scroll down further, you actually get the dimensions.
Cool, with a Sears gift card, and my wife’s Sears card, we can order a new fridge. Wrong. We can’t find her most current card :smack: She could come into a store and have them make up a temporary one, if she wasn’t disabled and we didn’t have some of our transport difficulties.
Anyway, we have the size thing figured out, at any rate.
At least at stores like Kohl’s, they will find the account information if you supply other info like SSN. They may be able to look it up for you.
She could come in, and they would make up a temporary one, but she’s disabled, and right now it would be a lot of work. She just ordered a new card from the website which will arrive in a day or so.
I thought maybe she could work it out over the phone, but it’s probably something they wouldn’t do for security reasons.

Also measure any door ways the fridge has to go through. Last fridge I bought I had to take the kitcen door off the hinges to get the old fridge out and the new one in.
