Not bad enough to pit it, but I am on a new acid reduction med, and it is affecting my damned digestion. I have the worst damned sulphur burps … and it feels like my stomach is just not emptying at all. 130 and I still can’t get to sleep for the burps and indigestion :mad:
You have my sincere sympathy - I’ve been fighting with stomach problems off and on for years now, with a bad flare-up that started last September still bothering me. My doctor’s last diagnosis is Irritable Bowel Syndrome that is manifesting as stomach pain rather than bowel symptoms. I get that weird stomach not emptying thing, too - it feels like I’m almost painfully full for hours, then stomach-growling hungry in 15 minutes.
I know what you are going through. I hope it works out for you.
I gave gastroduedenal crohn’s disease, so I can empathize with you. Before I was diagnosed my stomach wouldn’t empty, and it was extremely unpleasant. I still have minor issues like that, especially if I eat certain trigger foods, but it’s nothing like it used to be.
Thanks, just hoping I accomodate to the damned meds soon. At least [at this time] IBS/Crohns isnt an issue, just GERD. Well, and those damned sulphur burps.

I take Prevacid and no sulpher burps. It’s OTC now so if this stuff doesn’t work out give it a try. Good Luck.
Sulfurous? The new med wouldn’t happen to be… “Ass Effects” now would it? (warning, sound effects) 
Seriously, if you don’t mind sharing, what are you on? We’re trying to figure out what’ll work for my GERD, and Prilosec ain’t cutting it any more. Just did a Reglan trial too and it’s not an acceptable addition to the regimen.
