Stupidest thing lekatt has said to date

The Father, the Son and the Holy Getaway Driver.

I think you might be beating it wrong.

If it nearly drives you insane, I’d say you’re beating it just right.

I doubt that, I’ve got way to much experience at it to still be doing it wrong at this point.

Have you heard the word about The Invisible Pink Unicorn? She might be able to save your soul, if there is such a thing as a soul, and if She had the ability to save souls, and if She was so inclined to save them, yours in particular.

I’m with lekatt on this one.

IMHO, the atheist is one who professes not to believe what theologians have taught him about God/Allah/ Buddha/etc … with very good reason; the idea of a universal theology is pure BS and the rational for most of our wars. Let us simplify things and speak of the source of all as “X”.

IMHO, atheism=anti-theology, not anti-X. This be true then I am an atheist. I presume that I did not create myself and am created by X. The only question I face then is, am I created a part of X or apart from X?

Apart from X I am lost and need a “savior” to find peace of mind. A part of X, I am at peace, Alpha and Omega.

Thus, it makes no difference what name I give Alpha. I just believe in X.

We can make this much, much simpler.

There’s no evidence of a god, and no reason to believe in one other than a desire for whatever solace the fantasy brings.

Well, I could use some help … unless you’re saying that it’s your problem, not lekatt’s. If so, why?

NDEs are a dime a dozen and YMMV. I have been immersed in one for the past nine mos and it has been a white knuckle masterpiece. But I sure learned a lot.

Some years ago, when I was stationed overseas, I had to tell a local national employee who was peeved that I didn’t accept her substandard work, “I’m not interested in how long you’ve been doing it wrong.”

Maybe this applies here, maybe it doesn’t. Only [del]the Shadow[/del] you know[del]s[/del].

Yes. What **Czarcasm **said.

Believing is seeing, simple as that, imho. To believe the converse is to be stuck in duality.
