Hey, learn to read. I said I -was- thin. I’ve got curves now and I get a hell of a lot more attention from guys. I didn’t start getting positive attention until I gained weight.
Maybe you enjoy wearing kids shirts which tend to say things like “daddy’s little girl” and “Sweetheart” but I sure don’t. The only thing good about shopping in the kid’s section is that when you do find something that isn’t covered in sparkles, flowers, lace, or “cute” phrases is that it is considerably cheaper. If you can find anything decent that is.

This is a total hijack, of course, but I have noticed your name as someone who is just nasty to me in threads for reasons I cannot figure out. I don’t usually pay attention to who’s who. It takes some notable aggression, and you have displayed that, or I wouldn’t know who you are. I’m glad you don’t know who I am-- that means I can’t have been as nasty to you as you have been to me. I figured you had a problem with me. You say you’re just not a nice person. OK, I can buy that. It’s not personal. I believe you.
But you did take the first ad hominem shot in this thread, in your faux-defense of Creaky, who did fine without your “help.” Keep that in mind.
Also keep in mind that this thread’s OP is about how ridiculous she thinks the sub-zero sizing is. Then, as always happens in these threads about clothing, the same 5 women come in and hijack the thread to complain about how horrible it is to be thin in this world, how much harder it is than it is to be fat, etc. It’s annoying. Try and put yourself in the OP’s place. She feels she was driven out of her own thread by your and others’ complaining. Get over YOURSELF, dollface.

I agree that it’s rude, although like I said, I don’t mind when my friends tease me about being little, since we know each other well enough to tease each other good-naturedly about many things. And I agree with your third point as well, although I’m not sure what you posted that in response to. I hope you don’t think I was insinuating that clothing size is inversely proportional to happiness.
I don’t complain how horrible it is to be thin. I think it’s wonderful to be thin. I love that I can pick clothing up off the rack and it fits me perfectly and all except the most absurd fashions are flattering.
It’s great to be able to wear clothing the way designer’s intended, and not to have things pull in unfortunatly ways, or bunch in funny places, or make my ass look like a billboard.
Really, I’m not complaining at all. It’s still a drag trying to figure out what size I am though - even though I know it will be a small one.

What are you talking about? You suggested that I complain about how tough it is to be thin. I was just correcting your incorrect assumption. I don’t complain about being thin - I complain that the sizing on women’s clothing is odd and tough to understand regardless of the sizes being purchased - the other posters in this thread have agreed with me, regardless of their sizes. Honestly, I think you’re projecting.

How is that bragging? This thread was basically about complaining how difficult it is to find sizes that fit, because clothing brands are never consistent. alice simply posted a fact - that she knows she’s small, but she’s never sure exactly what size will fit her. It doesn’t seem like she’s flaunting her size in anyone’s face.
I don’t think Ruby being pissed has anything at all to do with me or the size of my ass. Furthermore, I don’t think Ruby being pissed has anything to do with this thread.
Originally, I thought this thread was about what a pain it is to get women’s clothing because of the bizarre sizing. I have no idea what it’s about now, other than Ruby being pissed off at skinny girls.
Sooo, yah. I’m still keen to bitch about women’s clothing sizes, but I think I may be alone in this.
Not at all - the post wasn’t directly at anyone in particular - only at the idea that you can’t get anything in life worth having unless you’re a size 2.
