We are trying to find the source of a sudden arm jerk my girlfriend is experiencing when she first awakes. If she goes to sip her glass of water in the middle of the night she throws the water all over her self, of if she tries to scratch her nose for instance she might bang herself in the face.
The onset of this seems to coincide with her taking zoloff which she just started taking about 2 months ago but this is just a shot in the dark and all we can come up with. Has anyone else experienced any arm jerking with zoloff?
The Wiki page says a side effect is Akathisia—that is, “inner tension, restlessness, and the inability to stay still”—caused by sertraline was observed in 16% of patients in a case series.
Maybe a sports water bottle, by the bed, would keep you both drier?
