Last night I was playing a hockey game on my computer, and I remembered a dream that I had a long time ago (the dream was not at all related to hockey). This seems to happen to me a lot. It’s not that I’m remembering the dream for the 1st time; when it pops into my head I know it’s a dream I had. I’m not thinking to myself “Did I dream that before?” because I know that I actually did dream it.
Does anybody else experience this or know what causes it? It seems weird to me that previous dreams will pop into my head with no other mental stimulation related to the dream.
It sometimes happens to me too…
The other day I was in an Accounting class… I was thinking about other stuff and observing the prof and other students, when it suddenly occured to me that I dreamt that scene some time ago…it felt weird…
Since I’m a skeptic and I don’t believe in predicting the future, ghosts, god, psychics, paranormal phenomenon etc etc… I just figured it might have been some unrelated dream even if it seemed so real…this seems to happen to me from time to time but I quickly forget about it…I guess I’m just crazy…
I read somewhere that this might happen when half of your brain slows down for a portion of a second and then “gets back” with the other half, supposedly you get a “deja vu” impression…
(anyone has any more information abou this?)
