Suggest Titles of Team-Written Books/Plays

Among the famous ones I can think of off the top of my head…

“The Talisman” (Stephen King/Peter Straub)

“The Front Page” (Hecht & MacArthur)

“Inherit the Wind” (Lawrence/Lee)

How many other famous books/plays can you think of with 2 or more co-authors?

The Irish RM Sommerville and Ross

Hmmm…does mind candy count? If so, I’d nominate The Destroyer series by Warren Murphy and Richard Sapir

The Male Animal by Elliott Nugent and James Thurber
The Autobiography of Malcolm X by Malcolm X and Alex Haley
Dozens of history books by Will and Ariel Durant

Ellery Queen

Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch

Meaning of Liff

Since the OP mentions “plays” I’ll assume that Broadway shows fit that criterion and mention:

Rodgers and Hart
Rodgers and Hammerstein
Lerner and Loewe
Sondheim and Bernstein

although they may not have contributed all of the “book” to the shows that featured their songs.

Would The Brothers Grimm count?

Black Trillium, by Marion Zimmer Bradley, Julian May and Andre Norton. Three of the best female fantasy writers ever. Granted, this book is not the best example of their caliber of writing.

And of course, The Bible.
