Suggestion for fixing campaign finance reform...

Well… with the 527 it is become apparent that the campaign finance reform bill did not work. So, here is my suggestion:

Make all contributions to political campaigns illegal. The only way for a candidate to raise money is through corporate sponsorship. A speech might go something like this:

President Bush, wearing a NASCAR hat, Levi’s jeans, a Hooters Shirt, and RayBan sunglasses walks up to the Exxon podium and delivers the opening lines of his speech on terrorism:

“This great nation of Coke-a-Cola, McDonalds, and freedom, if safer today because of the actions I have taken. Actions, which were clearly and crisply photographed on a Kodak digital camera, and are available for download on politicalmoments.com for only $19.95. Share moments, share Life.”

… While VP Cheney stands behind him in his Haliburton jacket and Jarvik baseball cap.

Which twin do you think would get stuck having to wear the Mayor McCheese ™ outfit and hand out coupons?
