Suggestions for moonlighting?

If she don’t laugh, I don’t want her.

Legislative aide, maybe, although local jobs are understandably harder to find than Tally ones. Campaign flunky, definitely.

They pay campaign flunkies?!

How active are you? How interested are you in sports? I have two suggestions for night and weekend jobs that I enjoyed in the past because they involved me moving around and being outside. The pay can be pretty good too. (Althought think LSAT tutoring is the best idea mentioned so far.) You sports officiating. I’ve refereed football, baseball, basketball, softball. Volleyball is always looking for more officials (although that one doesn’t require you to move too much). It’s pretty good pay; and if you like sports it’s a nice way to be involved. I know a lot of people who support themselves with youth officiating. I live in GA, which is known for paying pretty well for amateur sports officiating; not sure how Fla ranks. It’s fairly easy to get into; you set your own schedule.

The other suggestion I have is being a vendor at sports games. I was a beer vendor for many years for the Texas Rangers. Hard work, but a lot of fun. Your schedule isn’t as flexible. If there’s a home game, you’re expected to work.

Christmas is coming up and now stores are looking for part time help. Otherwise try a temp agency. there are specialized agencies that cater to lawyer and their assistants. I would first start with Robert Half and go from there

They pay the ones with graduate degrees. I suppose flunky isn’t quite the right word.

You read his dating profile? Really? You don’t seem to be his type.

Whoa. I had never heard of this. I am actually looking for copyediting/writing gigs myself. I don’t really have much of a portfolio, but this has inspired me to try to build one.
