Suicide - Who cleans up the mess?

The snopes entry made me wonder about the prices my friend told me he paid and received. I called him up and asked. I didn’t remember the prices correctly. It was $28k and $26k. My apologies for the inaccuracies. It was still a damn good price for a ZR-1, but not as good as the one my faulty memory came up with. The $16,000 Corvette was one my dad bought and it wasn’t a ZR-1; it was a 1982 low-mileage car he bought in 1989.

A friend of mine owns a pool installation service.
Recently a man shot himself and they found him in the pool.
Cleanup of the pool consisted of dumping some sort of stuff in the pool, waiting awhile and vacuuming the bottom of the pool. Apparently it causes anything organic to become heavy and sink.
I think I’d have to change the water.

There must have been one tremendous number of suicides in Corvettes over the years, since I have been hearing this story since the 1950s in each of the eight states where I have lived. Frankly, I don’t believe it.
